Data processing review.
A patient call workflow needs a documented review of its data and responsibilities. Work through the proposed services, providers, and applicable agreements with your practice before live use. This page does not replace an executed agreement.
ROLES
Determine the responsibilities of your practice, Voicesis, and each provider for the specific workflow. Confirm the applicable privacy and security obligations with your review team.
PATIENT INFORMATION
Define the minimum information required for administrative calls, scheduling requests, referrals, and staff handoffs, together with permitted destinations and uses.
APPLICABLE AGREEMENTS
Review whether business associate agreements and other terms are required, which services they cover, and whether the proposed configuration can meet your requirements before patient information is processed.
SECURITY EVIDENCE
Request the documentation relevant to encryption, access controls, authentication, logging, testing, and incident handling. Verify the actual implementation and current evidence rather than inferring certification from this page.
LOCATIONS AND PROVIDERS
Review the full data path across hosting, telephony, voice, model, and integration providers. Confirm processing locations and any transfer requirements; a hosting region alone does not describe every provider.
INCIDENT PROCESS
Agree on contacts, investigation responsibilities, and applicable notification obligations in the relevant agreements.
RETENTION AND OFFBOARDING
Document retention, export, deletion, backup handling, and offboarding responsibilities for each data type and provider.
